Teaching young people to skillfully sort fact from fiction on the internet is vital work. We’ve developed this resource as a small start toward meeting that need.
Los Angeles Unified School District and the Stanford History Education Group have partnered to develop four new lessons focused on African American history in Los Angeles.
Please note that this is not a complete list of our materials that can be used in elementary classrooms. We've heard from many elementary teachers who have successfully scaffolded other lessons and tasks to use with their students. Rather, this is a list of lessons and assessments designed specifically with elementary students in mind or that have been used successfully by elementary teachers with only minor adaptations.
