In this lesson, students are introduced to the Iran-Contra Affair and then use Civic Online Reasoning strategies to evaluate the trustworthiness of online sources about the scandal. Teachers model expert strategies for evaluating a video posted on a social media site, and students employ these strategies to evaluate three other digital sources on the Iran-Contra Affair.
