Following the First World War, leftists and radicals were arrested and deported in the Palmer Raids. In this lesson, students explore the causes of the Palmer Raids by comparing seven historical sources, including newspaper articles, writings from A. Mitchell Palmer and Emma Goldman, photographs from the front page of a newspaper and a video released by the Ford Motor Company.
