This lesson presents students with four historical documents from the women’s rights movement in the United States in the 20th century on topics such as women’s suffrage and Title IX. Effective as a summative unit lesson or assessment, this lesson requires students to apply broad knowledge of the women’s movement to draw inferences about when each historical document was created.
